In such a crazy time, it’s hard not to feel the weight of everything going on. And that is ok! I’m a believer in allowing myself to feel emotions & I believe it’s crucial in order to process. To be the light in the midst of a lot of darkness takes practice but I want to share what I do... 

Observe what’s going on 

Turning your head the other way does nothing. I’m a believer in speaking up as the worst we can say is nothing. Observe what’s going on and speak up when you think something is wrong. 

 Find a group of likeminded friends 

Find your circle and hold on tight. When you’re around people that support you (& I mean genuinely support you) you’ll collectively come together as a positive force. 

Start with yourself 

You can’t tell others to be the light if you’re not on board. Starting with yourself means not only supporting causes you care about, lifting up others and having a positive mindset. It’s also about being kind to yourself. In a world full of go go go, take a second to stop and breathe. You’re doing such a great job. 

And remember, you are the light! 🌙
