At nellamoon, our mission is to serve the greater good through artisan candles that reflect the bright light within each of us. Candle-making is deeply personal to us—it’s a craft rooted in love, intention, and meaning.
After losing my sweet Mama, I felt a strong desire to create something that would honor the way she lived—with grace, kindness, and an open heart. Every time you light a nellamoon candle, we hope it reminds you to shine your own light and live your life with purpose and joy!
We're also passionate about using business as a force for good. That’s why we proudly donate a portion of our profits to charities that are helping create a more loving, compassionate, and radiant world!

Arielle St. Pé
Hey love!
I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and raised in the heart of Mississippi, where I spent my childhood picking blueberries, riding horses, and running barefoot through the grass! My mom used to say that even as a little girl, I’d change my earrings and outfits multiple times a day, then twirl around the house in full fashion show mode. Honestly, not much has changed!
With a passion for fashion from the very beginning, I earned my degree in Apparel, Textiles & Merchandising with a minor in Business from Mississippi State University. I also spent a year studying Fashion Design at the University of Rhode Island, where I lived among 40 international students. Immersing myself in so many beautiful cultures expanded my world and inspired me creatively in ways I’ll never forget.
During college, I spent my free time designing clothes, hand-making jewelry for local shops, and styling outfits for friends and family. After two inspiring summers interning with Ralph Lauren’s creative fashion styling team in New York City, I felt a pull to return to my Southern roots. In 2011, I moved to Nashville and began building a career that blended my love of fashion, creativity, wellness, and candle-making.
In 2012, I launched nellamoon—named after my childhood nickname, “Nell,” and “Moon,” as a tribute to my late Mama, whose love and light continue to inspire everything I do. What started as a heartfelt creative outlet has grown into a brand that reflects everything I love: thoughtful design, meaningful details, and a mission to bring more joy and light into your life.
