quick & easy summer '70s look

I think we can all agree that putting together an outfit that meets the level of comfort we're looking for while feeling confident can be hard to come by.

This simple knotted top pairs well with so many things like a vintage pair of Levi's or these '70s inspired jeans with fringed bottoms (which have become one of my favorite go-to pieces for a summer evening out).

We all know that not all jeans are created equal and this pair really checks all of the boxes. The way they sit perfectly above the hips is so flattering, making them a perfect option for a night full of dancing, laughing, eating delicious food, or just walking around the house (something we've all become too familiar with). The fringed ends give them the perfect twist of vintage and chic. 

To top this look off, I chose this dainty cross necklace. I love the way it pairs with this tied white top so delicately without being distracting.

I suggest going with neutral shoes and handbag as they go with anything. I chose these pointy-toe clear shoes. They pair perfectly with the pink fringed-bottom jeans and they're actually comfortable, unlike a lot of other clear shoes that often feel restricting and stiff. 

Choosing a bag with a gold chain was a great idea as it paired perfectly with the entire neutral look and even matched my dainty gold necklace. I recommend this one. It almost has a weave and wicker pattern, which is one of my favorite summer patterns and matches the majority of what I have in my closet. 

If you're choosing this as a day-time look, try opting for a pair of cat-eye sunglasses for an elegant add-on. I chose this pair in white to match my top and make my look a little bit brighter.
