Looking to take your kitchen up a level? With these staples, I was able to take my kitchen from a level 2 to a level Barefoot Contessa in no time. Take a look at these essentials I've come across that I don't think I'll ever let go of.

ditch the coffee run!

although I used to enjoy running to my favorite coffee shop every day, it became expensive and time-consuming. I found two coffee makers that have made me into a barista right at home. If you're looking for an espresso machine, this is a must-have. Sticking to plain jane black coffee? I love this traditional coffee maker!

bye-bye microwave

as convenient as they are, they expose you to DNA-damaging radiation. And I get it, sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but I try to avoid them regularly if I can. As an alternative, I purchased this mini smart toaster oven. And yes, It takes longer than a microwave but the safety is worth it to me!

an electric tea kettle

while some people make tea or hot beverages using a microwave, I choose to use this electric tea kettle instead. It's safe, it's convenient, and it's a beautiful addition to any kitchen!

my beloved juicer

trendy celery juice (which I love), a ginger/lemon shot for allergies, you name it and I can make it with this juicer.

non-toxic cookware

I talk about this all the time, I know! But for the sake of the environment and my health, I ditched plastics and aluminum and went for glass, cast irons, and stainless steel instead!

try making your nut-milk!

leaving dairy in the dust? While I still love one almond milk from Costco, I've been experimenting by making my own! There are a few options out there but I like this one! It's an affordable tool that makes creating a perfect nut-milk much easier!

I'm always looking for ways to upgrade my kitchen. Any staples you've come across that are worth sharing? Let me know on Instagram @nellamoon!
